@ 60 mph, with 3.55s out back, I'm caressing 2800-2900 rpm. And that's bearable for only an hour at a time.

Basically Stroker393, with the 393, C4, and 3.73s, you're gonna burn more gas than you will probably care to (if that car will be daily driven). I'm borrowing a friend's van to save on engine wear and tear, gas, and giving myself the ability to drive faster hwy speeds (in my case, I go to school everyday then work and it takes me about an hour to get to work).

If you want a good 3-times-a-week car, Saturday-night-cruiser, the 393/C4/3.73-geared car will be PERFECT. If it's your only car and will be traveling lots of miles, that combo isn't gonna work for you.
