Lightbulb headers???

I was just wondering if there would be a big difference between getting equal or unequal length headers for performance. I don't have any mods for right now because not much funds. 91 GT straight stock but I want to change out the exhaust and work on the intake. Those are the only mods I can afford for right now, the wife and I are in the process of buying a new house. Anyways I just wanted to know if there would be that much of a difference with shorty equal length and unequal length..

Justin,

Depending on your future plans...I would go with shorties. They work well on up to 400 hp and you won't loose as much torque as with the equal lengths in N/A applications.

Equals will make a little more power a little higher in the rpm ranges with full mods (heads, intake, etc.), but like I said, the shorties should work great for you and are a bit cheaper and easier to install.
