![]() Can I jack the car from the differential housing? What about that big piece of metal right in front of it, near the driveshaft connection that has a bolt on either end? I'm changing the rear control arms, and wondered if I could jack from there, previously I had just used the rocker panels, or control arms. Just curious.

![]() Jack it from the pumpkin or axle tubes, or the rear subframe. Anywhere except the sheetmetal is usually ok.
