Smile Got my car back!! Needs help.

I just got my '86 GT back from the paint shop. They did a great job. You can see it under USMUSL in the user rides. However, I have some needs, it needs new weatherstripping on the lower outside of the windows. The body shop said it is out of production. Anybody know where I can get them?

My Next Generation catalog (www.nextgenparts.com/mustang) has all the watherstripping in it, as well as body panels, the bumper covers.........anything. The Mustangs Unlimited (www.mustangsunlimited.com) catalog also has a lot of weatherstripping. Order both of those catalogs (they're free) and compare the prices on what you need.

I ran into the same problem on my 86. I'm pretty much resigned to hunting junkyards, but I ran across this ad in MM&FF. I'm going to give them a call. LRS Sport and Performance - 254-662-1714. The ad says they've got all 79-01 weatherstripping, and one of the things they list is the run channel for $39.95. I'll call and see if they carry the convertible stuff. Hope this helps.

Why would you need to check on the convertible stuff? My '86 is a hatch. Thanks, anyway though.
