![]() you should be there with that 150 shot. I have a bud with a 150 shot, same cam as you and exhaust, pullies and 3.73's running 12.30's.
On all motor though you will need a good set of heads (TFS, AFR, Canfield) and a Good Intake (Holley, TFS, Edelbrock, GT-40...) You will roughly need about 275 at the rear to hit a 12.5. Hopefully Sky will chime in, he is the perfect one to talk to and see what he has.

![]() What year is your car? A friend of mine has a 89 lx coupe 5sp. With perfomer heads, gt-40 intake shortie headers, off-road, flowmasters. stock t-body and 4.10s switched to speed denstiy computer went 12.40 at 109mph w/slicks and no No2 and still has the great driveability of an efi car. I like efi better since i started helping my dad work on this old nailhead motor that has a performer carb. I think it sucks ***.

![]() I think the key is traction vande97. I've seen (and many others that frequent their local tracks have as well) stock, lightened stangs, with as minor work as, exhaust, pullies, 3.73's, porting on stock heads, and an intake (including MAS) with BIG slicks and a sticky clutch pull 12.9's. But no doubt all the other thing mentioned would make it a whole lot easier to get there.

![]() If you are going carberated, get any aftermarket head, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and a 600 Holley with vacuum secondaries.
On a good tire you will go 12.50's or faster all day long.

![]() Here is my cousins combo, performer RPM, e-cam, 6037 edelbrock heads, 650 DP, 1.6 rockers and measily 26x8.5 tires. He's gone 12.29 @ 109. I would go with TFS TW or AFR 165's, Vic Jr. intake for that 150 shot. You can go 11.9 just on motor.

![]() Also check out Skyman's car. He posts 12.50s on the motor with his Saleen. I've raced against him at Carlsbad.
