![]() there is no carbs in Mustangs since 1985 and i believe ALL Ford vehicles post 1986 are all Fuel Injected. did you read this somewhere? cause it is false information. did you get the years confused? if you read it somewhere on the net, link it to us so we can read what this guy is actually doing.

![]() toughlilhunny,
Either you were the victim of misinformation or the guy who's suing Ford takes a shower with his clothes on. I have never heard of Ford knowingly putting out bad carbs. Maybe he meant different years?

![]() The carburetors on mustangs from '87 to '93 were TOTAL junk because of the fact that they weren't carburetors at all. They're throttle bodies, which would explain why they don't work very well as carburetors (at least that's what i heard

![]() Only lawsuit I'm aware of involving those years of Mustangs involves the distributor mounted TPI modules. Supposedly, Ford will extend the warranty on them to 100,000 and/or reimburse you if you had to replace it before 100,000 miles. Unfortunately, mine is outside of the settlement since I've far surpassed the milage stipulation.

![]() OK well guys I was given wrong info. I didn't think 87-93 mustangs had carbs, but the individual insisted that they did and thought I should post.

![]() Hehe.
Well...maybe I assumed to much in using the word scrawny...maybe petite would have been a better term ![]() Oh, and the wink was intended as nothing more than to have a disarming effect on the thread...to communicate the jest behind the post. You know I'm just messin' with ya, right? --nathan
