Default Got an Explorer Intake

Got my Explorer intake today! The junkyard gave my everything. So I was wondering if I could use the injectors?

Does anyone know what size tap I need for the ACT?

i'd just use your stock injectors for now.
I don't know the size of the tap, but you can take the sensor out of your intake and take it to a tool supply store and have them get you a tap for it.

how much did the junkyard charge you for the intake?

IIRC any V-8 ( 5.0 that is not 2002 w 4.6) Explorer will have the same intake ( Cobra) and heads (gt-40P) with maybe small diffs in years. 95 or 96 first year up to 2001.

That sounds real nice compared to a new Cobra intake at $400. What size TB does it have??

The inlet to the TB is 70 mm but the butterfly looks smaller.
The injectors are orange(same as mustang) but a lot thinner?

The Explorer uses a 65mm throttle body. It's got an elbow to it, more like the 94-95 GT's. The Foxes are straight.

1996-2001 Ford Explorers, and let's not forget about the Mercury Mountaineer's, have the 5.0L as an option, or standard for the Mountaineer I think.

I would sell the injectors and the throttle body if you don't need/want them on E bay.
