Default Kit Combo or MIX&Match?

What do you guys think... Buy a complete kit like holley systemax3 or just buy everything different?

and if kits are better, which one's are good? (price wise, less the 3.5k)

check out anderson ford's website, they have alot of their customers cars on there with hp/et's listed as well as the combo in detail.

One that I see alot that makes a ton of power is AFR165's, Edelbrock performer RPM and an Anderson cam (Ed Curtis cam would be even better)

plenty of people well into the 11's on NA 302/306's with this combo on pretty much full weight cars.

A good person to ask about the Holley kit is Rick91GT, he's in the 11's with the systemax II kit I believe.

When did the systemax 3 kit come out? Whats different from the II kit?

I'd go with a Holley intake, Trick flows/AFR's/ or Canfield's and a custom grind Anderson cam. That is probaly going to be anywhere from $1600-2000. Then buy all the stuff to go along with it.
