Question A9m Cpu??

I've never heard of this computer ,A9M, why did Ford
change to this from the A9L (or did they?)
Is it any good compared to the A9L??

I'm switching ti mass air and might buy this thing, but not
until I get some feedback here!! You guys are invaluable!!

Thanks

Default A9M

didn't know much about mine either, my A9M came with my mass air conversion kit and has been very reliable and has adapted well to my mods. I am still thinking about a chip because now I am going to the dyno and will want a "personalized" chip for my curves. Someone on this board said it was just as good as the A9L. I will try to find something technical for you (and for my own piece of mind)
88's are sweet!
Just checked, A9M is specifically for conversions and compensates for OEM differences in pre-mass air (speed density) as well as OEM replacements for high-time A9L's. It is entirely compatible with 88-93 stangs and offers excellent performance.
