Default a/c elim..and no smog

Getting rid of the a/c and smog pump...what size belt do ya use?
Using the a/c elim. kit.

Do you have underdrive pulleys?

Try starting with an 84.5" belt.

Just did it this weekend. I used a 72" belt. I dont believe I have UD pullies. Heres some pics

I gave you the belt length for a setup with only the smog pump missing.

I have underdrives and....ummmm...can't remember quite what I used, but start around 70.5.

Belt size is a very common change in mustangs, I think I've changed belt sizes at least 30 times with the last 7 mustangs. The easiest way to check the size needed is a string around the pulleys you will be using and mark the string where is comes together, measure it and you will be within one inch of the belt size you need.
