Cool

You release the pressure on the fuel line right behind the altenator. Then you can just take off the regulator. You probably could just take it off but I'd release the pressure first just to be safe.

The easiest and probably safest way is to trip the fuel cut-off switch so that it cuts off the fuel pump. Then try to start the engine. Turn it over a few times and this will relieve the fuel pressure.

You can just unplug the harness to the inertia switch and crank the engine a few times.

It all depends on how much you've already done.

Do you have the proper tools for disconnecting the fuel lines? You can get them pretty cheap at a local auto parts dealer. You may be able to get away with only pulling the intake and not the fuel rails if you modify the hex key to fit in underneath to remove the screws. It'll probably take just as long to pull the fuel rails, though. Remember to put some motor oil on the injector o-rings before you put them back so they don't leak.

Be sure to reconnect your fuel pump and repressurize the system before you put the intake back on to check for leaks.

That's all I can think of for now.
