![]() Hi everyone,
I was checking my oil today and when I pulled the dip stick out, the entire tube came with it. I shoved it back into the block as best I could, but I am sure it will just come out again. Does anyone know how I can permanently attach this thing? Thanks. Harry |

![]() You don't want to permanently attach it, it's not permanently attached for a reason. You might be able to stick a thin bead of Black RTV around the lip that goes into the block and get it to stick more firmly. Usually there is a bracket that attaches the tube to the header bolt that keeps the tube from pulling out, but that may just be on later year cars like my 91.
