Unhappy Rear Polyurethane Bushings

I replaced all the rear control arms with Energy suspension Polyurethane bushings, then I drive the car, and i have noise and vibration comming from the rear end. Granted these are hard bushings, and i should expect more noise from the road. But this is erratic, so i jack the car up and drive it and shure enough somethings shot in the rear end. Turns out the carrier berrings are bad, flakes out of them, so i have the rear end rebuilt, and i just got it back today. Am i sopposed to have lots of play in the rear end? I step on the gas and let of quick and it clunks... and theres a small wine driving on the highway... Is this because of the Polyurethane bushings?
