![]() I have a 98 Mustang GT with 3 Chamber flowmasters. It sounds pretty tough, but i wouldn't mind getting the 2 chambers for betters sound and power. What are your guys thoughts on this?

![]() If you are going for sound alone, the only thing flowmasters are good for, get the single chambers. They'll deafen you.

![]() You won't get any more power out of 2-chambers really. They are just a little louder.

![]() Get the 40 series non delta flow mufflers if you can find them. They have much deeper sound than the 40 series with the delta flow.
The difference between the two mufflers is the delta flows have two aditional baffles in the first chamber of the muffler. The non delta flow mufflers have one.

![]() Why stay with a chambered? How about a nice flow threw like Dynomax or Magna Flow. I think they have a nicer sound, especially the Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers! Personally I don't care for Flowmaster too much, but that's just my opinion.

![]() I have Flow 2 chambers they are pretty loud especially for everyday driving. Everyone tells me that my car is so loud. I do still see alot of stangs that are much louder. Maybe too loud. I think they are a nice medium for muscle and practicality. If you want LOUD go with the american thunder. I wish they were quieter on the highway. One of the Muscle Mustangs or 5.0 magazines did a whole test on the decibal level of different mufflers. I think it was last month or the month before. You may want to see if you can back order the issue. Over all I like them.

![]() Remember, small dogs have a loud bark. If you need to advertise that much, you probrably don't have it under the hood. I think there is a certain class to a sleeper. I think you would be happy with them. Also, they get louder as they get broken in.

![]() How would they break in and get louder if they're full of a bunch of metal plates instead of fiberglass packing???

![]() Don't ask me? I don't know the first thing about muffler technology. I am just speaking from experience.

![]() Perhaps its like a guitar, it sounds different as it is subjected to sound waves? Just a theory.

![]() Quickflowmuflers.com I can send you a set. Don't worry about the sound of any muffler, these are quite for the biggest part, when you get on them they come unglued. But as far as power goes, you will not find a better muffler. I was the test mule, we track tested them against 2 chamber flowmasters, it was unbelievable. Ask spakavieli how my car sounds.

![]() I like my Dynomax exhaust. It's really quiet at idle but when I get on it, they come alive. Plus they sound different than the 2-chamber Flows which I also like.

![]() I'm running the dynomax superturbos, I'm thinking of checking out their Magnum Race muflers (I want something louder/deeper sounding). Anyone have any of the bassani's?

![]() If i were you i would go with the flowmaster 2 chamber 40Ser delta flow. i have tried regular flowmaster 2cham 40ser Dynomax,Magna Flow and i even tried the quick flow mufflers i called up and ordered them. and the best dyno result i got was the flowmaster 2 chamber 40Ser delta flow. the sound on them is great its louder then stock but not very loud, but when i get on it then really open up are loud that show true power. i would go with the flowmaster 2 chamber 40Ser delta flow. i had the best results with them and better hp.
