![]() Hey I converting my lx 4 banger to 5.0 and 5-speed and the wiring harness im using is off an 88 Gt so i guess its Speed density and i have heard bad things about this setup. My question is how do you convert to mass air and can i still use this harness i have, or do i need to get one with mass air already on it. I just wanted to see what you guys think.

![]() I am also partial to a speed density setup. No having to play with/chase around MAF curves. and no restrictive sensor to begin with. it CAN, repeate, CAN be a little more difficult to tune. And unless the harness came off a california car, it's SD. Good luck Padre.
