![]() OK, I have Eibach sportlines. I want to go back to stock, the Eibachs were cool for a while, but now more iritating than anything else. Here's the prob. I don't have my stock springs anymore. My guess is, I can get away with using any 79-03 stock GT spring and still be good on ride height right? Your inputs would be much appreciated. Thanks.

![]() Try to stay with springs from a 87-93 GT. If yours is a convertable then get convertable springs as those cars are about 300 lbs heavier and have a different rate spring. Also hardtop for hardtop. 94 and newer cars are heavier than the 87 to 93. The 79-86 cars are typically lighter. Otherwise no problem. I personally would go for ones off of a 93 GT as they would be the newest and less chance of having a weak or collapsed spring.

![]() If you want a normal ride then get a set of springs that are for your particular car. If you want to have better weight transfer for launches, then get a set of 4 cyl springs, they'll help transfer the weight to the rear end quicker.
