![]() To use these do you have to machine the grooves into BOTH head head and the block...or just one or the other? When are these a necessity?

![]() For the Fel-Pros you need to machine the groove in the heads only. I personally wasn't too impressed when I saw a set of the Loc-Wires, can't believe that little ridge does a whole lot. I have a friend s that swears by the O-ring in the heads, with the thin wire installed in then and then using a good set of graphite gaskets.
