Kid in Stealth doesn't talk much smack anymore :) Well about 2 days ago i posted in here about a kid in a stealth that said he could rip me up so bad well we raced twice sunday from like a 10mph roll and this is what happened. 1st race we went on three and we take off almost exactly at the same time and i pulled on him through first 1/2 car (i was spinning),2nd 1 1/2 (still spinning),3rd i took off like a bat out of hell cause my tires finally grabed and i pulled about 4 or 5 cars on him till about 90mph then we shut down 2nd race same out come but he tried to be tricky and just jumped with no warning so he went off to a little lead but i caught him as soon as i hit the gas. now he wants a highway race. what do you guys think will happen if we race on the highway (he has a 91 stealth es 5spd)?

Thats good, but you need to regulate the throttle, as you can see, spining doesn't make you go anywhere. I think you would still take him on the highway.

				 | Highway racing is really dangerous if someone pulls out in front of you and you are going 130mph you are dead my friend and so are the people in the car you hit. If you are gonna highway race at least do it against a worthy opponent the Dodge Stealth is a wuss just like the dodge avenger. When I was in high school My friends dad ran a car lot and took a dodge stealth home one night and let us cruise it and it was a huge disapointment we took it out street racing and our first race was against a stock Z28 and it handed us our *** bad so then we raced a 300zx once again it handed us our *** so then we raced a 94' stock 350 chevy truck and yet again he whooped are *** we went home with are tail between our legs. And this was the top of the line Stealth. I would not waist anymore gas racing this guy....Tell him if hes gonna talk trash to go and get a real car ------------------ 88 mustang gt convertible bored to 306 BBk equal length headers mac cold air fender kit cowl hood nitto drag radials ford racing clutch flow masters h-pipe 160* thermostat 16 degrees of timing electric fan off 94' t-bird jacobs electronics cap and wires. | He knows you whooped his a$$ and so do you, so just leave it at that. The ES stealths are turds in the first place, but it's always nice to shut up some punk kid who thinks his car is "all that". Seems as though I dont get many of those anymore after the cam install... :-) ------------------ Clint L. | To 89 Cobra LX, sell your car. You don't deserve to be driving with a wimpy attitude liek that. As for the topic, I would laugh at this guy for even wanting a highway race. Afterall, you said its an ES which means Extra Slow. The only stealth I would be worried about is the Turbo AWD ones and this ES is anything but. What would be the point of a highway race anyway? JUst keep laughing and laughing, then bet money. Then win money. Works for me. ------------------ 94' Stang GT Convertible Cobra upper&lower, Mac cold air w/K&N, BBK equal length shorties, BBK offroad H-pipe, American Thunder cat-back, BBK T/B 65mm, 24lb injectors, Pro-77mm MAM, pulleys, aluminum driveshaft, 3.55s 14.4@100. | Race everything that moves! But be aware of your surroundings! I know Stealths and 3000 GT's aren't that great, But, ya know what? I kinda like the styling on them! If only they had a much faster engine in them! |

Dude you whooped his a##, leave it at that. The more street racing related accidents you have, the worse we look. Not to mention you're endangering innocent people. Challenge him to a heads up race at the strip, and bet big money. See how much he talks then. Remember, you're drag racing, not setting the land speed record at the salt flats! ------------------ 92 GT, 4:10 gears, centerforce clutch, 6# powerdyne blower, bbk h-pipe, flowmasters

He's probably thinking you have gears and will outrun you at the high end. He's a moron though, so I wouldn't waste your time or life on it. ------------------ 351W 89 Mustang GT Convertible

just a little info for everyone. At the strip I raced a 3000GT and spanked it's *** but.......his timeslip said he still ran a 13.9. The driver was a friend of mine and the car is totally stock I *hit you not, so they are pretty quick stockers. His was the AWD too though. But I still think you would take the stealth i hate thoughs cars. ------------------ 88LX NOTCH, 88GT, 95 GT.
