Default Engine wiring harness

Okay, today was a strange day. I have been having missing problems at 5800rpm. So I started moving wires around and when I moved the main harness that clips to the intake my digital TPS sensor went haywire reading all different voltages from .8 to 1.42. The idle went from a crappy 1100 to 2000. Should I try to find the wire that is not making contact or buy a new harness. I am thinking I should just buy a new harness but not sure where to get one. Any ideas on who to go through for the main engine harness. Also strange day cause the heater core decided to start leaking. Not bad for being 14+ years old. Thank you in advance for the help. I am so glad I found this site.
