![]() i have a 1994 mustang gt with automatic transmission, and was wondering what the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times would be from the factory. please include where you get the information, for example, personal experience at the track or a magazine article. i'm also wondering how much a firmer-shifting valve body improves 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. thanks in advance for all answers, this forum has proven to be very helpful in the past.

![]() I was thinking it was 205hp but maybe 215hp. I have seen the cars with the 3.27 gears I think that is the gearing run 15.80+ at 89mph. A friend had one and with 4.10 gears and a Baumann shift kit with the additional Servo it was in the 14.70 range. The intake really hurts the car with that bend because even with a 70mm throttle body and better headers it only dropped to 14.60 and still had nothing above 4500 rpm. I remember a Auto 5.0 either a 94-95 only made like 155hp to the wheels.

![]() A stock 94 has 215 hp at 4200 rpms, that's staight fact. My guess on 1/4 mile times for a stock 94 auto would be mid to low 15's, depending on how well you can drive. A shift kit would make the AOD-E's lazy shifts firm and crisp, and may cut a tenth or two off your 1/4 mile time.
*edit* I just read your sig, and with a performace valve body, exhaust and gears you should be able to hit mid to upper 14's, again depending on how well you can drive.

![]() thanks, hiflow. it's nice to hear that i may at least do 14's now. there's an article in the january 2003 muscle mustangs and fast fords magazine about a 1991 lx automatic. it did a 13.86 at 97.11 mph with a k&n filter, 15 degrees timing, 4.10's and drag radials. so i figure due to 150-200 pds. more weight, plus the slightly steeper gear ratio i should be getting very low 14's, close to the mid 14's that you mentioned. it's nice to have a second opinion.
