Post Tranny ?'s

In my daily driver 93 4banger auto. The tranny has started "slipping" I guess you would call it. It will only do it after it's just been started after cooling down, ecspecially of a morning leaving for work. It acts like it's low of fluid, and will just sit there. I can give it a little gas and it will eventually catch (5 to 10 Seconds) when it catches it feel like a launch at about 15 grand. And yes on wet pavement the 4banger will bark the Tire, imphasis on TIRE, SINGULAR,UNO.
Any ideas?

I don't know but my car has started doing that too. In the mornings and after it has cooled down you can nail it and it revs through first gear, shifts and you start in second or you just start in second.

my wifes 96 sebring was doing the exact same thing. I checked the fluid level and it seemed fine...I then went to pull the pan and saw a lot of fliud leaking from the gasket, pulled the pan to change the filter and only about 2 quarts came out! I didn't know the car had to be running and warm to check the fluid. After changing everything, she shifts smooth and doesn't have that problem at all anymore!

On my lunch break I said to myself screw it, so I checked the fluid. It seemed fine but oh well I added a quart anyway. It stopped acting up. Maybe I don't know how to read that damn little stick. But it quit anyway so Drive on
