Default Should I put in a cam when I rebuild motor?

Should I stay with stock cam? I'll be running the heads in my Sig. same intake too but mabye a cobra or typhoon. I was thinking of getting the comp xtreme energy XE264HR, I forget specs but it made 300 HP in a head test in MMFF tech guide (long tubes, air gap intake, carb,CHP shortblock) so I don't expect that.

But should I upgrade the cam?No big deal to go to mass air cause all I need is Injectors.

Also I want to spray it with 100-150 shot!!
Any suggestions aprieciated
