![]() I have a 91 GT that, ever since i bought it, has decided to be stuborn with everything electrical. The power windows and door locks have now quit working. THe bad part is, one window is about 3/4 of the way down and its been raining a bunch. I have gone thru and taken out everything from door panels to the fuse box. The only thing ive come across is that the relay isnt doing something right. When you put the fuse in the box it clicks like it trip the relay. So i buy a new one and IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE after 2 to 3 hours work ive got no where. Has anyone had this problem or know how i can solve this problem my self . Im kinda broke

![]() Have you tried direct wiring the motor to a battery? Try that out, see if you can get the motor to work. If you can't it's the motor itself that is bad. At least you should be able to get the window up that way.
I am going to take a stab in the dark with this one, and say ignition switch. It may not be working fully sending power to all the wires when the switch is on. It's a pretty simple fix, not too expensive either. Good Luck! |
