![]() I am really second guessing myself here with under a week left until the tear down. I have a set of windsor Sr's(64cc) heads....but am worried. I have seen many posts on here that say not to use the Sr's on a N/A 302, and few that say it is OK. I am wondering how much compression I will lose by running these? And how much HP will I gain by using these? The bottom line is.....will I gain as much HP as I would with windsor Jr's(58cc)? Please help guys.....I am going nuts.

![]() Hard to say...why not have the sr's decked to around 58cc???
64 cc probably has to be around 8.5:1 That's a guess though ------------------ 4.10's,long tubes & 75 shot...Goes 12.50's Check it out at http://www.burnouts.webprovider.com |

![]() I'm gonna run an F303 cam with edelbrock's 6032 head (1.90 valve) with 1.6 roller rockers. Shouldn't be a problem, but since you have 2.02 valves, you should definitely check the p/v clearance. Get them milled and you'll be fine. What intake are you going to run?

![]() I bought the cobra intake set. I must be way off here. Do you mean get my pistons cut, or shave my heads?? Won't it hurt more milling the heads down?

![]() Milled heads will give you more compression

![]() Yeah it will decrease the clearance but with the 2.02 valves you're almost definitely going to have to get your pistons flycut. And if you're gonna have them cut, you might as well get the heads milled for sure then. Wouldn't hurt, and that way you know everything has clearance.

![]() I'm with 86GT. I'd just bite the bullet, have the pistons flycut, then have the heads milled to produce around a 58cc chamber. That 64cc chamber is really for blown engines. Don't the Sr.s come with an optional 58c chamber though?

![]() I am with the other guys, fly cut the pistons, and mill the heads down. I am running the Holley 2.02's (62.1cc) with a .509 lift cam I have .100 clearance with my stock pistons, but I am fly cutting mine to add a bigger cam as well .548/.565 I haven't made my mind up on milling my heads as I plan on putting a blower on the car in the future and it would like the bigger chambers. Remeber fly cutting lowers the compression.

![]() Well I just wanted to give you guys an update. I decided to save my *** and order the Jr's. I just don't wanna mess with the lower end right now. I called World Products and they said the Jr's will work fine with the F303. I start on saturday so I'll be posting some picks during the whole deal....if I can figure out how to. Thanks to everybody who has given me info in the short time I have been on this site.
