Question Lowering=traction loss?

I want to lower my car and not too long ago I noticed Eibach had a drag kit. People on here told me that this kit raises the car. Well, heh heh, I am not buying that. BUT! Does this mean that lowering your car reduces traction? I know its all about weight transfer, but I just can't judge this problem by common sense this time.
