![]() Does my 1990 LX have a 7.5 or 8.8 inch rear-end? I thought that it had a 7.5, but I recently read the in 1985, 5.0 mustangs were switched to an 8.8. I'm confused.

![]() Yes, you have a 8.8" if it's a 5.0
Gear ratio is (check door tag under AX.) m=2.73 z=3.08 e=3.27 Not sure of change year but '87+ stangs are 8.8 ------------------ 4.10's,long tubes & 75 shot...Goes 12.50's Check it out at http://www.burnouts.webprovider.com |

![]() Actually the 86s were the first year with the 8.8 standard with the 5.0 engine, then 87 and up all had it with the 5.0's. 85's were 7.5s. And all 4cyl cars had 7.5s too.
