tach
can anyone help tach is not working fuse is ok.by the way anyone ever hear of puting shimes in a 5.0

Check your tach feed out under the hood. I don't remember which wire it is off the top of my head.
What are you wanting to shim on a 5.0? |

shims
A friend changed the head gaskets . The heads went to the machine shop cleaned and macnafluxed put car back together ran fast some back firing.seems to have gotton slower over the last week.Machine shop told us we need to put shims in rockers i thinkif there is any thing i need to now please tell

I've never shimmed rockers before. I've always used studmount rockers and normally set them up with .001-.002" lash. I've seen the shims, but I'm not familiar with adjusting pedestal mounts. Sorry.
