Default r roller lifters worth the extra buck

i'm rebuilding my engine in the spring & i need to know how big of a difference will a roller cam with roller lifters make VS a non-roller cam & hydraulic lifters. the price difference is quite large so if it doesn't do much in the power area, i'll just go with the non-roller. thanx....
