E7 and 289 Heads

I am selling a set of my stock E7 heads, and a guy who is interested asked if they will fit on an older 289????

Anyone know if this will work???

They'll fit but I don't know if he'll like the results unless he shaves them.

Yeah, that seems like a strange swap. A lot of labor for a smallish improvement, if any. Possibly the buyer is interested in dropping compression?

Soon to be added intakes and then HEADS.
