Question Air / Fuel gauge

Having problems finding a place to hook the positive wire from the gauge. The instructions say to a switchable 12 volt source, like the ignition switch so it only gets power when the ignition is on. How and where would I hook this into the ignition switch? Like I said earlier I am not the smartest when it comes to electrics.
