Default HELP! need spkr sizes for a '94 GT

Okay, I want to upgrade the system in my Sweety's mustang, but I can't order speakers for her until I have an idea of what sizes I need.

So

1) Does the 1994 Coupe have kickpanel speaks? If so, what size 5 1/4?

2) Are there door speakers? Again, what size? 5 1/4?

3) What size are the rear deck speakers?

I thank you all in advance for the info!

Matthew

This is with the mach system:

Front door: 6x8(depth 3 9/16in.)
Rear deck: 51/4(depth 8 in.)

This is without the mach system:
Front door: 6x8(depth 3 9/16in.)
Rear deck: 6x8(depth 8 in.)

I got that straight out of the Crutchfield catalog fitment guide, I checked it like 10 times, to make sure it was right. You would think the mach system would have the 6x8's in the back? But I checked it over and that is what it says.

Shouldn't that be in your sweety's manual? If not call ford they will be able to help you out. Good luck!

Bigger speakers dont always mean better sound. It looks like there are smaller speakers (51/4) and seperate tweeters in the back of a mach 460 but i could be wrong. I dont have one so. ill ask someone who has a 96 tommorow, should be the same.

Crutchfield is most of the time wrong. Their guide is wrong. We went buy it and the speakers did not fit. We called them and they said that the guide was wrong. I have a 1994 and my speakers were 5x7 front in back but now they are 6x9 with 2 12 inch subs. The bigger the magnite the better the sound. Stick with Polk or alpine or kenwood. I have had great experancies with them. I would stay away from sony. Bad experiances with them. Good luck. If you need anymore help email me at _US_MALE@yahoo.com
