				 | How thick of a.......... .........phenolic spacer will fit under the stock hood? And is there any advantage to using it on a lightly modified car(stock intake)? |

				 | 1/2" will fit under the stock hood. It will allow your upper intake to cool more easily, especially if you ice it at the track. So yes it would be a good thing to have even on a stocker. But if I were you, I would wait till you get an aftermarket intake and get a spacer for that, unless you wanna spend $50 now and another $50 if you get an intake down the road

I would save your money or put it into an aftermarket shifter (Pro 5.0, Hurst, Tri-Ax), gears, or some other mod that probably has alot more bang for the buck than the spacer. E
