Default Hey turbo guys, make up my mind

Would like to know the good and the bad about two turbos compared to one turbo. Going to put a turbo set up on my car but don`t know which`s best. Not really into the race thing, but it is going to go to the track occasionally. So please help me make up my mind. Thanks for your time and information!!!

As long as you go turbo, you can't go wrong. This biggest drawback with two turbos would have to be the amount of underhood heat and the amount of space required to mount two turbos. My single makes alot of heat and it's small (a TO4), with your 347 you would probably want two T04's for your application. Anything larger would have a lot of lag. Twins take up alot of space in my opinion.

Another thing would be the power, when and where it comes in. Twins would spool faster and thus would get an extremely large amount of power to the ground quickly, making it harder to launch and control on the street, especially if you happen to get a little heavy with the foot. A larger single, would be easier to deliver the power to the ground, both at the track and on the street.

A love this site, but you might want to register over on www.turbomustangs.com. Most of those guys have way more experience than me and could really set you straight.

Good luck, a 347 and turbo is one powerful combination.
