Default interior help

I just bought an 88 5.0. The interior is trashed and EVERYTHING needs to be changed. Door panels, seats, dash, console, carpet, etc. I found somebody with an 89 interior. It seems to me that these parts should fit in my car. Does anybody know for sure?Any good places to be looking for parts? I live in Calif.
Thanks- Steve

The interiors should be the same except for maybe the color. Also make sure the 89 interior is the same body style ( coupe, hatchback, or convertable ). Some parts will interchange between styles ( dash, doorpanels, etc.. ) but not all of them.

87-89 parts are completely interchangable. 90-93 parts are interchangeable as well. There are variations in the dash style and some of the other parts between the two though.

they will interchange, i believe you can also put newer 90-93 interior in your car, the only difference is the seatbelt in the back seat(comes out of the panel in the 90-93) and the rear hatch cover is different cause of the rear panels being different, but yes your interior will go in fine, i would say try mustang parts specialties for your interior but, they wanted $1000 for a full black interior when i owned my 89lx, i dont think you want to spend that much
