![]() I recently put a 4.10 in my stang. I basically lost the transmission about a week later. I have an aod. I can either rebuild it for $700, do a T-5 conversion for $1500, or sell the car and get a mustang with a 5 speed in it. I really want to drive a stick. I wanted to know what you guys think about the T-5 swap. I really don't know much about it's reliabilty. Would it be a better idea to just sell the car? BTW, the swap is a rebuild, but it comes with a king cobra clutch, steeda clutch quadrant, and steeda tri-ax shifter; and everything thing else is new too, flywheel, etc...
Thanks |

![]() There is a mustang shop by my house called Mustang Services. I'm not sure where they get the kit, but they do all the labor.

![]() That is a good deal...Assuming they are good parts and they install it correctly, should be just as reliable as a car that T5 originally with those parts.
I am in the midst of the T5 conversion also...Just need a few more parts. Thanks, DoranW
