![]() I stopped in at the local Goodyear store yesterday because they had a set of rims in their window that I thought would look good on my Mustang. Anyhow, they only came in 5-lug, not 4. But the guy at the store said they made an adapter that would bolt on to my 4 lugs and would have 5 lugs coming out, so I could use the rims. He also said the adapters would work on both front and rear wheels.
Anyone ever hear of these things before? Ever use them? How safe would using something like this be? I would think it would push your wheels out from your car some also. Any opinions? Thanks |

![]() Heard of them - don't recommend them. I agree 5-lug wheels have many more options and looker cooler than 4-lugs. The smart and safe way to go is to convert to 5-lug in my opinion. That's what we're going to do on our stang over time.
