![]() today i let my friend give me a ride in my car so that i could see what it feels like. he goes to get on it and it made no power in 1st and 2nd. right before the run it stalled around a corner and the idle was alittle jumpy. we pulled over and i thought the fuel pressure gauge said 0 so we went home and it was actually pinned around to over 100. i dont know why this happened. how can a afpr go bad? i just put this one on a few months ago. help the cars running like crap and the pressure wont go down.

![]() yes, they can go bad. check to see if the vacuum line is filled with gas...

![]() Some fuel pressure regulators don't react well to alcohol or some other chemicals that may be in fuel injector cleaners or octane boost. I had a Paxton FPR that went bad because of some chemical I put in the fuel. I can't tell you specifically what it was, though.
