Default for people looking to do first mods..

just wanted to share a story... my car was stock last year when I ran it at the track, and I pulled 15.39 @ 89.7.. the car needed a tuneup..

Since then I've put on 3.27's, pulleys, and an h-pipe as my 3 major mods, and also performed a total tuneup, timing at 8* (maximal for 87 octane), plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel pump replaced, driveshaft changed, new clutch, etc..

anyways on friday night I went to the track and pulled 14.6's at over 96 mph... (this with my heavy 94)

so, moral of the story, you don't need to spend a lot to get a fast car.. when I fix up the launch (2.253 60') to a 2.0 or so, I'll have an almost stock 94 running low 14's... check my stats, this combo works well for me.. it might do well for you new guys looking to get into the 14's quickly..

(I remember when I first came onto mustangworks.com and wanted to know what to do)
