Question V6 Exhaust

Im getting duel exhaust on my v6 in the next few days, the dealer said I would have performance problems If he removed the cats from the system, I have heard that I wont, all I will get is a check engine light and it will not mess with ecc computer. I really dont want the cats on my exhaust system, but I also dont want to harm or get bad performance from the computer. Also thanks 5.0 guy for your reply.

You can totally do true duals and still leave the cats where they are. They're not restricting your 6 that much right now. Just go from the cats back, I'd just do some 2chamber flows, those sound nice on a six.

You can buy cats that aren't restrictive. MagnaFlow has a website you can look at and find a dealer near you. You're still keeping mufflers on your car right? What I did was junk the muffler and replaced it with a straight pipe.
