![]() I will be installing some weld-on Kenny Brown super subs on my 'vert soon. Any advice on what to do and what to watch out for? Is disconnecting the battery enough or should the computer or anything else be disconnected? How about pulling up the carpeting in the rear seat/floor area as well as in the front floor area? Just want to make it go smoothly with no suprises! Thanks!

![]() I welded mine in on my 89 GT. Hell I made the damn things. I didn't even disconnect the battery cable. I know that most everything you do, you are supposed to disconnect the negative cable. I never do. It is a good idea though. It is not necessary to pull carpet or anything. Not to my knowledge. Just be sure to have those fuel lines out of the way. And be sure to get all of the paint sanded off where you will be welding at. That mig welder hates paint.
