![]() Hey guys,
I need some help here, I had a dynomax exhaust on my 91 Lx, but it got damaged on a pot hole a while ago. I put it in the shop to have it fixed and they ended up replacing a lot of stuff including my nice dynomax muffler with a cheap $15 muffler. So I am now replacing them with flowmaster mufflers. Once I went out to get started though I noticed the replaced pipe, from the muffler out, is only 2.25inch. The rest of my exhaust is 2.5 inch. So I need a piece of 2.5 inch pipe to go from my muffler over my axle. Then I have stainless steel tips I'm welding on. However, all the shops around me only carry the stock 2.25inch bent pipe and 2.5inch straight pipe. How can I get this pipe bent, or how can I bend it myself? I found some shops that will do it, but they will only bend it if they are installing it and want to charge me around $100 to do it. I would prefer not to spend that if I don't have to. Does anyone have any ideas?
