Question AOD to C4???

What all does it take to do an AOD to C4 swap??? Do you have to do some re-wiring, get a new driveshaft, etc.??

New driveshaft, new gears for the rear or your mileage will suck, why do you want to go to a 3 speed? unless you are just going to race it.

Yeah, it's just gonna be mainly race. I'm building a 331, and I thought about changing it over.

Default AOD - C4 swap

I am getting a C4 built this winter. Need to be sure to get the large bellhousing and if you use the stock flexplate, then need the large bolt pattern, 117/8'' for the converter. Get a good after market shifter, rewire the neutral safety switch and you should good to go. FYI, most tranny guys prefer the dip stick in the case vs pan. I have been reading every article in the mags about the swap that I could find. Anyone with addl info. please let me know.
Thanks,
