Default new problem with electric fan??

everytime it kicks on, it kicks in the ac clutch? even with the ac knob off, i checked the wiring since i had it off a couple weeks ago, everything is right, is it possible the ac relay is tapped in the wrong wire? i dont even know how long this has been going on, or how much it slowed me down at the track, any help would be great, this is got me stumped, for now i have the green ac relay wire detached so i dont drag my motor down anymore.
thnx
btw, it is a black magic, other than that, it works great.

Sounds a little contradictory to me? Eithier its right or its not. Obviously yours is not. check the wiring again. you have the A/C wire hooked up to the wrong place

or if it is indeed wired correctly, its possible the circuit board on your fan has shorted out, powering the A/C wire when it shouldnt...

Im sure it's wired correctly.
i guess i can leave the wire disconnected from the fan, and depend on the t-stat to turn on the fan when the a/c is on, which is'nt too often this time of the year, thanx mach1.
But if anyone else has experience in this area, feel free to drop an opinion, im almost certain it didnt do this when the fan was new.
