![]() How good is the Aurburn Pro Diff? I read an artical and they said that it is too lose fiting for ford gears. They said it has to much play and that the Stock Diff is better. Any responces to this?

![]() Auburn's diff's are good on mild street/strip combo's. But they are not rebuildable so if you're awesome at the track launching on slicks or dr's I suggest you go with the Ford Racing or the Eaton diff. They are both rebuildable and clutch packs only cost $50. If you're really making it a purely race car, you might want to look into a spool. It all depends on what you want to do with the car. There is a different part for different applications. ~Brian

![]() Auburns have alway's been a toss up with me and many friends, The PRO or the regular one, here's the deal, If you ever "significantly" 1 wheel peel with one in the water box, the cone clutches are now most likely fried and as mentioned, NON-rebuildable......Me being the cheap *** that i am, just rebuilt my stock trac-loc and added an extra steel to take up slop, now that was one hookin MF.

![]() I am hoping to have at least 500 Ft/lbs. It will be a put into a car I can drive around town and once in a blue moon go to the Track. I will but 3.73's and 31 spline axles. It is for a 1994 blown 351W.
