Default Intake/injectors?

ok heres the deal my car has the following mods to the motor 65mm m.a.f., 65 mm t.b., bbk shorties, k&n. i recently bought a used edlebrock preformer upper and lower
i wanna throw it on but every one is telling me i need to upgrade my fuel system but i've read that the stock fuel system is good up to like 400hp. what do i do? let the intake sit till i get the cash for the injectors and pump? or can i get away with a adj. fuel press. reg.? and just crank the piss out of it

A regulator would be good to have, the stock injectors support over 300hp from what i learned recently, i wouldnt worry about it, i still run the stock fuel pump, but that is going to change soon, im putting on heads/cam, so im going with a holley 190 glp, if your on stock heads, no n20 or poweradder, the stock pump is fine too.

Ditto. Your fuel system is fine for up to around 300, and you wont be anywhere near that. If you are gonna swap intakes, you might want to do something about those heads while your in there as well, such as cleaning up the exhaust ports by removing the thermactor bump.

Ill put it to you this way, Im running the mods in my sig with the stock fpr, and no problems. The thermactor "bump" is and injection hole for the smog pump to pump air into the exhaust ports into the sorry excuse for exhaust ports in fords heads. It sticks down from the roof of the port, and when ported correctly, can produce significant gains.
