Default AOD wont shift out of OD when gas applied

I've got an AOD with a transgo kit (and the high rpm regulator) and she acts like a queen through all of her gears, shifting at just the right points, responding to throttle with a nice crisp downshift exactly like she's supposed to until.... I hit OD. Then she'll not get out of OD until I slow down below ...I think.... 45 mph. I can floor it at 50 mph and she'll stay in OD.

The TV cable is hooked up perfect (lokar cable). I set it with a pressure guage and the ford .275 feeler and, like I said, it responds appropriatley in all other gears. If I use the shifter to go into "3" , she'll drop into third, however.

What could be wrong? Any ideas?
