![]() What am I going to need to swap a '76 351W into my '94 GT? And convert it from carb to efi. The reason I don't just go out and buy an efi 351W is because I already have a '76 and '78 sitting in my garage. I was looking at the GT-40 intakes for 351W and wondered if this was a good choice?

![]() It's good, but expensive from Ford. (BTW www.fordpartsnetwork.com offers good discounts on gen ford stuff). Good alternative would be the Trick Flow 3561 manifold for efi. You'll need a different alternator bracket (see www.oemfordparts.com for part #). YOu'll need a 351 flywheel or flex plate (different balancing). check www.ronmorrisperformance.com, that oemfordparts place, www.windsor-fox.com or painless wiring for retrofit stand alone efi wiring harnesses if you don't want to mess with fitting a stock harness. Probably also swap headers for the 351 swap, like Hooker, Hedman, or Ford.
