![]() After reading several things on this board-I am starting to get confused on the amount of gains expected from using an explorer upper and lower and heads on my car. How much more power may i expect from this combo? also in what range low.mid/high? Would love to hear from folks who have this setup. thanks in advance, joe

![]() I cant give exact numbers but. If all you add is the intake/heads there will be little gain. You've got the ball rolling though.
You need to add various other mods to improve things. Some of the cheapest best bang for the buck mods are headers and roller rockers. With a combination of intake, injectors, rockers, cam, headers you could possibly see 75 or better HP increase. O-yeah, different rearend gear is a cheap mod too. Theres a book at Barnes & Noble. It covers small Ford EFI bolt-ons. They dyno the motor after every part they install. From just intake tube, to super charger. I think the book was blue in color. I got to find it again and buy it.
