351/5spd

I have a 351 that iwant to hook up a 5 speed to put into my 79 pacecar. can anyone please be as kind as to tell me what year 5 speed trans. will work on this 351 please. Thanks Gary

If it's a 351 windsor you are referring to, anything that fits the 302 will fit the 351. Of course, with the right bellhousing you can get any transmission to work. A t5 out of a fox mustang with the stock bellhousing will bolt right up. You can use the same clutch and tob too.
