				 | timing question Im still working and tuning the 90 lx i bought trying to get it to its full potential. What kind of ignition timing should i be running? And what should i be shifting at with the 3500 stall c-4, 373's and an E-cam and 265 hoosier quick times? I think i was over reving it quite a bit when i made my only pass of a 13.70 @ 101 which i was a bit disappointed with. I also only had a 2.13 60ft. I figure the 60ft should at least be a 1.8 with this car. Between that and over reving it do you think 13.1's are possible? Im also adding an electric fan and water pump soon. 9:1 compression gt-40 p heads 1.6 roller rockers E-cam Cobra intake 70mm throttle body Msd ignition and all the rest of the bolt ons thanks for your help, bryan 90lx 86 coupe |

				 | 14 - 16 degrees advanced will probably work out best for you, but the only way to know is to experiment. Start at 14, and advance it in 2 degree increments until it pings, and then back it off a degree. Make sure you disconnect the spout connector when making your adjustments. Take care, ~Chris

				 | chris is right, start at 14 then go from there. run high octane gas... and i noticed you have GT-40P heads. are you sure you still have 9:1 compression? i thought all GT-40 P heads were 58cc combustion chambers???? and if you have the stock bottom end you will have about 9.5:1 or so compression. take care, adam
